Privacy Policy
Last updated 15 October 2026
This policy covers the OBD2 Dashboards apps for iPhone, iPad and Android and its website (together, “the service”), run by Potato Powered Games Ltd (“we”). We keep what we collect to the minimum the service needs.
Your car’s data stays on your device
Readings from your OBD2 adapter (speed, RPM, temperatures, fault codes and so on) are shown and, if you choose, logged on your phone or tablet. We don’t upload them. Location, used only by map and speed widgets you add, also stays on your device.
Your account
You can use the apps without an account. If you create one to share designs, we store:
- your username and email address;
- your password, stored only as a secure hash;
- anything you add to your profile: picture, banner, bio, website and social links;
- the dashboards, gauges and plugins you publish, which are public, and your likes.
We use these to run your account and show your designs. We don’t sell them or use them for advertising.
Usage counts
We count views, downloads and shares of each design to rank the charts. These counts aren’t linked to you unless you’re signed in when you like a design.
Purchases
OBD2 Dashboards Pro is sold through Apple’s App Store or Google Play. They handle payment; we never see your card details. The app checks with them whether you have Pro.
Cookies
The website sets a single cookie to keep you signed in. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.
Where it’s stored
Account data and published designs are kept on our servers and cloud storage providers, which may be outside your country. They process it only on our behalf.
Your choices
- Edit your profile at any time in the app or on the website.
- Delete your account in the app (Profile, Delete Account). It’s hidden at once and your designs are removed.
- Ask for a copy of your data, or ask us anything about this policy, at [email protected].
Children
The service isn’t aimed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
